The 7th and 8th grade VRC Robotics team attended the Oiltown Showdown VEX Robotics Tournament in El Dorado Saturday, February 8.The team won each of the 9 matches played. They were ranked number 1 at the end of the qualifying rounds and went on to win the Tournament Champions title at the end of the elimination round. The team impressed the judges and also won the Team Excellence Award for their work on building the robot, engineering notebook, and teamwork. The team won the Skills trophy with the highest skills score for the day 18 points.
