On Saturday, 23 students traveled to Region III Junior High (7-9) All-Region auditions. The following 6 students (over 25% of the students we took) made ensembles: Hannah Diffee- 1st band, 3rd chair - #3 out of over 100 clarinet auditions. Colin Martin- 1st band, 7th chair - #7 out of over 100 trumpet auditions. Sam Wright- 1st band, 11th chair - #11 out of over 100 trumpet auditions. Leah Weaver- 2nd band, 2nd chair - #5 out of 15-20 tenor sax auditions. Drew Johnson- 2nd band, 11th chair - #23 out of nearly 100 percussion auditions. Emma Parker - 4th alternate - #28 out of nearly 100 flute auditions. Several other students came within a few points of being selected. These kids worked very hard and it paid off! Go band!
